One photo, three crafts
Every example below starts from the same photograph — a very good golden retriever — run through the same studio tools that will make your pet's patterns.
1. Cross-stitch pattern
A full symbol chart in real DMC thread colors, with a color key and skein estimates so you know exactly what to buy — no confetti-stitch mess, no 90-color palette bloat. You get the pattern book as a print-ready PDF.
2. Paint-by-number kit
A numbered painting map with a named color key (real acrylic paint names, with coverage estimates) at your choice of difficulty — Easy, Standard, or Detailed. Print the map, grab the paints, and paint your own pet portrait.
3. Coloring pages
Clean, bold line art of your pet as printable coloring pages — the same pages Ren colors in her videos. Here's that same page, colored in:

How the founding pre-order works
- Pre-order on Gumroad ($19, secure checkout).
- Send us your pet's photo — reply to your Gumroad receipt email or write to inunghwang@gmail.com with your order number. One clear, well-lit photo works best; face-forward portraits are ideal.
- We make your three patterns by hand in the studio — the same engines, checked by a person — and email you the PDFs within 7 days.
- When the app launches, founding buyers get their $19 credited toward the self-serve studio, so you can make more pets instantly.
Honest questions
Is this an app yet? Not quite — that's the point of the founding round. The pattern engines already exist (they power our Etsy and Gumroad custom services); the app wraps them in a self-serve upload. Founding orders are fulfilled by hand in the meantime, so you get real patterns either way.
What kinds of photos work? Any pet — dogs, cats, birds, bunnies. Clear, bright, close-up photos give the best patterns. If a photo truly won't convert well, we'll tell you and offer a refund or a different photo — no silent disappointments.
What do I get, exactly? Three print-ready PDFs: the cross-stitch pattern book, the paint-by-number kit, and coloring pages. Nothing physical is shipped — you print at home or at a copy shop, which keeps the price at $19 instead of $60.
Can I just wait for the app? Of course — join the free waitlist and we'll email you at launch. Founding buyers lock the $19 price (launch will be $29) and get their first pattern made this month.
